CAPA National Photo Walk, 2026
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, seventeen Toronto Camera Club members and three guests participated in this year’s Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA) coast to coast photo walk. We were joined by Suneel Mistry, CAPA’s director of marketing and member of the Etobicoke Camera Club.
The route took us past Love Park, along Queens Quay, by “Between the Eyes” (egg-beater sculpture), under Pinnacle One Yonge Condos (Canada’s tallest residential building), through the Pier 27 Condo complex, by "A Series of Whirlpool Field Manoeuvres" (cyclone sculptures), past Redpath Sugar, through Sugar Beach, along Water's Edge Promenade, past Aqualuna Condos, through the Distillery District, to our lunch location at the Mill Street Brewpub.
The walk was a mix of urban landscape, modern architecture and street photography. Participants mingled, took group selfies and chatted about photography. The lunch gathering was a great opportunity to socialize and continue talking about our photographic interests.
